Are you inspired? I am

The "Arte y Pico" award was created/made to be given out to bloggers who inspire others with their creative energy and their works, whether it be writing, artwork or more. When one receives this award it is considered a "special honor". Once you receive this award, you are to pass it on to at least 5 others. For more info on this wonderful award, where it originated, please visit Arte y pico at their blog. ( words from Auntiebunny)

There is so much inspiration in every corner of the internet, i have read of and made friends with so many that inspire me so... but i managed to draw out 5 blogs that get my creative juices flowing.

We have Julie over at Little cotton Rabbits

busy busy busy, and a giveaway.

I noticed (abit late) that my last post was my 100th post. There seems to be a bit of a trend of a crafted giveaway going on to celebrate mile stones , so i'll join... more on that later.

Have been very busy here. Trying out new things, crafting, playing etc. The kids are slowly one by one coming down with the flu now though, and last night it grabbed me :(
Luckily Beady seems to be fine though, and is keeping us all busy threatening to take her first moves

This little gal arrived in the post though, and is making me feel better. I love Kewpie dolls (i am so not a blyth person) and was pleased to find this one from the 60's . Her name is Daisy, and i plan of making her some new clothes in the future.

Meet Florence, (i am afraid this is not the giveaway my mum already has her) She is from a vintage pattern doll, and i had such fun making her you might just catch some joining my Floppety Bunnies for sale in the future. She had pantyloons, peticoat, dress and apron. In the future i vote on more ribbon and lace.

Other than that my friend Caroline and I decided to have an over msn craft along !! She choose a shawl for us this time. She beat me to the finish, but i protest it was because i was making a doll at the same time!! This pink one was hers

And this green one is mine...

Which brings me nicely onto my giveaway. I made two green shawls., so that one could be for some lucky blog reader.

Leave me a message (with a contactable e-mail) and in a weeks time (sunday 27th April) I shall pop the names in a hat and pick a winner :)

WIP

WIP's.... W . I . P's
I am not alone in this crafty world, we even have a abbreviation for what effects me.
W.I.P's ......... Work in progress.
I have many works in progress, scattered all around my life. But today we are going to discuss only the yarn ones. I have a few of these, and i think it's time i got this guilty secret off my chest.
"one or two" i hear you all cry " we all have one or two unfinished things"

Yeah i got one or two

A skirt for Outtake
A tiny tiny teddy for *my husband * lol

three or four? yeah i got those

a few floppety bunniesanother baby star blanket

Five or six? hmmm few more

a teddya secret ;)

Seven or eight????? alittle higher

Blanket for the cotCardigan for Strawberry Puff

Oh and one more, i've decided to learn to knit. I did the basic 'drop stitch' when i was younger (yanno when you start with 30 stitches and your mum has to come and increase 5 every ten minutes to keep you on track) well now i want to knit real stuff, so i give you my last W.I.P...

a scarf for Spud.

Hmm i was hoping that would make me feel better!!! I guess there is only one thing for it, bring this under the new years resolution category of 'don't leave things till later'. I gotta actually get this stuff finished. So it's numbered, you know what i gotta do....... updates hopefully regularly.

And to start, looky here, i finished a skirt and hat for strawberry puff. :)
