Trick or Treat

They all had fun, they got bags full of sweets. Ryan didn't get the hang of saying 'trick or treat' but knocking, thank you and goodbye, and of course sweet taking he could do. There were so many children out this year.

Happy halloween everybody. Pumpkins are carved, scary sound effects playing in the childrens room, and the kids stuff ready to 'trick or treat'.

Today has been one of those days, when no mater whats happening, you seem to get stressed and otherwhelmed, and need a big cup of tea!!
We have movement from Ley, she can cruise around quite nicely.....backwards!!!! Ryan has learnt to count to 3, so does it most of the day!!! I have decided little boys are so loveing to make up for all the mess they cause. Viviennes reading lessons are going well. We are using the distar method, with set out, 15 minute lessons, and after only 8 lessons, i can see an improvement in the way she approaches words. I really didn't like the memory method for reading she was doing at school.
Just adding the tassels to Viviennes poncho. I must get some batterys for my camara so i can take a pic.
Gotta pull my finger out with Viviennes birthday, just under 4 weeks now, and then christmas, the next month,,,and then Ryans birthday the next month,,,,,,,,,,and then Leys birthday the next month.....ok ok getting stressed again.

Well the first week of home school was a total disaster. All because my illness got worse and worse untill monday i was completely sure i had tonsilitus and it was peaking, so i took a little trip to the doctors, and got myself some penacilin to react to. Yup thats right react, i have spent a whole week in bed, with a migrane that had me in tears, shareing my inner thoughts with a bucket. When the docter was phoned his words were, 'i won't come out, stop taking the penacilin but it's up to you, come in when you can'!!!!
But anyway, on the mend now, so we are getting into doing a few basics. Vivienne has discovered she likes story writing this week (using her childrens dictionary) she has been doing picture to go with them and sticking them in her main work scrap book. We are gonna go a few 'me' project flap books next, covering body parts, senses, family and the digestion.

Hopefully things are getting better. Gonna have a farm trip next week once other children are back at school and half term has finished.

Still trying to shift this illness, i feel totally sick and headachey all the time, my body feels tired and i feel all over fuzzy. Rest of the family seem to be fine tho.
Last day of school for Vivienne tomorrow. I got through my info from education otherwise yesterday..had a good read through that. There are a few other homeschoolers in the area, one even down the road, so i shall have to get in touch with them, and a meeting the first monday of the month which i must get to.
Didn't crochet Ley any clothes the other day, i need a smaller hook than i have for what i want to do, so must get one. Instead i made a little chick, my first soft toy in crochet, so alittle uneven!!! Am doing a poncho for vivienne now.

Firstly a photo of Aimee Rays Fatkitties, i love these.
Having a very quiet weekend, most people have gone away, and even Hubby Ryan is working today (sunday) so the kids have been allowed to doss and relax (Vivienne loves pajama days)
Think i might set aside abit of crocheting time today, try abit of clothing for Ley, and then tonight i must get out my sewing machine to finish of a baby sling for Julie , who has just had baby no.3 a beautiful little girl...congrats hun.

So we have one week left of school, before thats it, gone..
Had my mummy over for the day today, had a good natter.

I DID IT

Oh my gosh, i did it, i handed in the letter taking Vivienne out of school. Scary stuff, but i think we'll be fine. I must type out something with Vivs contact details for friends.

Only really productive with housework today.
I have the letter ready to hand into Viviennes school tomorrow, giving one more week, so i need to really get this house sorted before.
After dinner today, when it came to washing up, i decided the messest thing was my son, so i washed him up first!!

Not been feeling too well, thought tonsilitis was gonna turn up, but it could just be a sore throut.
Not done much creating, the past couple of days, only alittle book mark for Vivienne.
The babies are in bed now, and Vivienne and Daddy are in kitchen making buscuits, getting late now so she might have to put a bit of iceing on them tomorrow.
Viv is still at school this week, i am still trying to get hubby past the wobbles of unsurity. We will be doing this.

Baby Ley has a stinking cold today, poor little mare, it's her first one. Sister popped over for her nails, she wanted something alittle more bling today, but is too scared to go mad, so i gave her a little holographic glitter in the tips. Once she had gone i finished a doll for my mum. Slightly mad one, going huge on my little pixies i make, it's turned out right cute.
